PD:Approval is the brainchild of Tom Bell, whose aim is to bring quality assurance services to new and established membership organisations. A key benefit is that PD:Approval is a completely independent organisation, whose overriding passion is ensuring that professionals in the sectors we work in can access safe and effective training to progress in their careers.
Having started with a contract with the Sports Therapy Association, we were delighted to gain our second contract with the Register of Exercise Professionals in March. We are actively engaged in looking at other sectors to complement those we already have, to broaden the scope of professionals looking to further their careers through endorsed training.
Tom Bell, CEO
Tom has over 15 years’ experience in quality assurance and verification of education and is a qualified PT. His main role is providing the strategy for the business and seek new contracts, but he also gets involved in sales and accounting, and over the last couple of months has honed his skills in social media and CRM.
Hanna Boyce, Head of Operations
With over 30 years’ experience in administration and operations, Hanna’s role is to develop procedures operationally, focusing on accounts, sales, standardised content (web and collateral) and information processing.
Jacqui Hobbs, Quality Manager and Trainer
Jacqui has over 30 years in tutoring, assessing and quality assuring accredited educational providers as well as an understanding of Ofqual requirements through her role as school governor. Jacqui has been instrumental in setting up our quality assurance processes and runs our very successful Tutor, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance training workshops.
